Aloe Vera, yes ! But which one ?? There are in fact more than 300 varieties of aloe vera plant. Hard to know which one to choose ! And yet, know that there is only one that can offer you the best, the plant that has the most potential offers is the aloe barbadensis Miller. It is rich in minerals, vitamins, amino acids and enzymes. From a health point of view, it is difficult to do better!
Aloe “vera” is the Latin word for “true”: in the old days, this variety was considered to be the most effective from a medical point of view.

So what is it ?
Aloe is a plant of the Liliaceae family (such as asparagus, lily, hyacinth, tulip, onion, garlic,etc.) belonging to the species of succulents, which is also part Cacti.
You probably cross on the web, in the botanical stores or in magazines this beautiful plant. It measures between 80cm to 1m at maturity, sometimes up to 2 meters if you count the flower stalks. This arboreal plants have shallow, short roots, whose short, sturdy stems bear. Depending on the size of your plant, large green leaves surrounded by small, light yellow spines. The aloe grows in spiral around its stem and if you are lucky, you will see beautiful yellow flowers trumpet-shaped.
By cutting one of the leaves of your plant, providing that it is old enough, you will be able to find the Aloe Vera Gel. For the simple reason that the aloe stocks the water prealably filtered by its roots and leaves. By a learned alchemy (the metabolism), this water is transformed into this bitter and translucent gel so sought for its medicinal properties.
How can I use Aloe Vera ?
You can use Aloe Vera gel for just about anything. Provided you know in what form! Indeed, the part between the gel and the leaf, which is called Aloin, must not be consumed! You risk for example laxative problems or abdominal cramp, dehydration … So be sure to choose your Aloe gel pure without Aloin. The consumption of the leaf is also not preconditioned. Know that Aloe barbadensis Miller is known to clean the air, both indoors and outdoors. She keeps the bad toxins in her leaf!
It is now proven that this gel extract from the leaves heals many small ailments such as burns, small cuts, sunburn, herpes pimples, skin problems like eczema, psoriasis, digestive problems, insect bites, … You can also use it to moisturize your skin, beauty mask, to fight dandruff, in your shampoo… It is also interesting to use in addition to some treatment for skin disease, chronic disease, hepatitis …
